Art of War Project was founded by a group of veterans, 1st responders, and mental health professionals who saw a need for more accessible social and mental health resources in our community.
The Art of War Project offers various programs for military, first responders, their spouses, and families to attend. These programs all contribute to the emotional health of our service members and their entire family.
Our most basic mission is to teach, make, and share art. The rest takes care of itself. We are a program where Peer Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders and their Families can create and connect through art and recreation.
We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide comprehensive spiritual, social, recreational, and mental health services to those in need.

Ultimately we believe in the power of ART as a healing and visual language. One that allows intense personal insight to be gained by the participant. We as a society gain a vastly deepened network of visual/psychological power and cohesion by cultivating an artistic language that can be shared by all people.
